A size you can understand.

Independent sizing tools for the decisions that shape your home.

Size is a load question.

A house’s floor area is useful context. The actual job is cooling a building, starting a motor, meeting a busy hour of hot-water demand or producing enough electricity across a year.

SizeMyUnit brings those different questions into ten independent tools. Each result includes a range, the working, the inputs that matter and the limits of the method.

Who publishes this site?

SizeMyUnit is published by Pablo Bravo Villanueva, an independent web publisher based in Spain. We are not an equipment manufacturer, utility, engineering practice or installation contractor.

How we maintain the tools.

Published data is pinned to a named source and retrieval date. Our own screening coefficients are identified as assumptions. Solar responses are fetched ahead of time; public requests do not call the PVWatts API.

We publish model methods, a source register and a change log. Illustrative residential photography was generated with AI; sizing uses deterministic PHP calculations, with no AI or LLM calls.

Independence and commercial links.

Advertising, affiliate and installer referrals are currently disabled. Commercial arrangements do not change the sizing formulas.
