Terms of use.
How to use these tools and their limits.
Using the tools.
SizeMyUnit provides general planning estimates for US residential equipment. Use the calculators and explanatory content to prepare questions and compare assumptions. You are responsible for checking your inputs and arranging a qualified assessment before buying or installing equipment.
Limits of the information.
We aim to keep formulas and sources clear, but publications, local requirements and equipment performance can change. Results are provided without a guarantee that they fit a property, meet code or predict cost. These terms do not exclude rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
API and reuse.
The read-only API is rate limited. Do not bypass limits or interfere with availability. Embed widgets may be used with their visible attribution link. Source publications remain subject to their owners’ terms; linking them here does not transfer rights.
